Bramble Cottage is one of a pair of semi-detached former barns which were part of the farm buildings for the Homestead. In the hamlet of Ilkerton near Lynton within Exmoor National Park, open moorland is a short walk away, and Lynton is a 5-minute drive. Fantastic opportunities for a group of up to 4 family members and friends (or up to 10 if booked in conjunction with adjoining Hawthorn Cottage), with up to 3 dogs, to relax, participate in outdoor activities and enjoy the North Devon coastline and resorts.

Suggested Activities
- Explore the moor, wooded valleys and coastline on foot, horseback or bicycle.
- Visit the many beaches of North Devon, which offer opportunities for surfing and body boarding, kite-surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding, and coasteering.
- The villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (with the famous Cliff Railway), Watersmeet, The Valley of Rocks, Doone Valley, Woody Bay Station are all close by.
- You can visit the sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton, the dramatic cliffs and rocky coastline at Lynton, Combe Martin and Mortehoe, or the market towns of Dulverton, Porlock and Dunster.
- Boat trips for fishing, to observe wildlife, or for a day trip to Lundy island can all be enjoyed from Ilfracombe, as well as the shopping around the harbourside and Damien Hurst’s Verity sculpture.
- There are plenty of pubs, cafes and restauranets in the locality. Lynton cinema and the Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe are also popular destinations.
